Stefana “Hibiscus”

In the Victorian era, flowers were often used by people to send messages, and each flower had its own special meaning. The hibiscus would be given to send the message that the giver thought the recipient was beautiful. A pair of elaborate and delicate wedding crowns (Stefana) that fit perfectly together forming hibiscus flowers, connected with a 120cm grosgrain ribbon. Each pair of stefana - crowns consists of two pieces that fit perfectly to each other. Each piece completes the other. So that when united they become one piece, forming a perfect circle. This union represents the connection of two individuals into one couple.
