Stefana “Pearls”

Ancient Greek legend thought that pearls were the tears of the gods. They also believed that wearing pearls would prevent women from crying on their wedding day. Traditionally the pearl symbolizes purity and innocence. These crowns are forming a string of pearls when united. Each pair of stefana - crowns consists of two identical pieces that fit perfectly to each other. Each piece completes the other. So that when united they become one piece, forming a perfect circle. This union represents the connection of two individuals into one couple. The crowns are connected with a 120cm grosgrain ribbon
